Of course that would change the migration pattern for people coming up through
Mexico. I wonder how San Diegans would react.
No reasonable person would want to risk being shot for travelling through Tejas
to get to the US. Tejas is our tar baby. They asked to join the union and
we're stuck with them. If they leave and DC gets in, that's the end of
Republican power for the foreseeable future. Strange as it sounds, I am not in
favor of that. The loyal opposition has to be there in order to provide a
balance. If only one party has the possibility of power, that would lead to
more corruption than we already have.
I wonder how The Handmaid's Tale sells there.
Imagine having to negotiate a Texit agreement.
