And it makes no difference if you are sighted or not, whether teaching or
learning. A good teacher can teach his skill-set. A good learner can learn
best whoever the teacher is.
Blind-fold chess should only be used for exhibition purposes or for training
in positional and strategy awareness. Otherwise, it is a waste of energy,
effort and has no developmental value or purpose.

with correct of lenses for his eye condition he is able to see the clock so

Their methods of teaching do not allow me to understand quickly how the
process is taking place so we are looking for blind persons who are teaching
blindfold chess I suppose a sighted person teaching blindfold chess would
work as long as they were blindfolded an interesting problem

Marcin Tazbir is the only blind chess grandmaster. His rating has been
around 2525 for a few years now. It goes to show your long-standing
maxim--Yes, blind people can and do play chess--is spot on.
Okay, well off to doing a bit more prep for the Cleveland Open coming
up this weekend. Five rounds of pure and fierce competition OTB style
over the next three days. It's gonna be great. So, bring it on!
