I have Chess Viewer on my iPhone, which lets me purchase and download books
from Everyman chess. They have some books on tactics. I need to learn tactics,
too, and I got one whose title is "Starting Out: Chess Tactics and
Checkmates." They have others, but I wanted to get one that starts out simply
and goes from there. This one is good for my learning style, because it has
lots of words. I get anxious when all I see are half sentences, moves, and
unsaid things that the author or annotator assumes I, the stupid reader is
somehow supposed to read their mind and know.
