One very accessible resource I'd like to point out to all, and in line with
the request for games, is http://www.e4ec.org. This service is totally
accessible via email, and allows you to play as many games as you'd like
against players of similar strength. Once you sign up, you simply send your
move in the body of an email to chess@xxxxxxxx using the properly formatted
commands, and it takes care of the rest.

Check it out!

Subject: [usbca_chess] accessible on-line resources

Hello everyone,
I know of two on-line resources for those who are interested.

First the chess problemist society provides a weekly problem in FEN. There
is an archive of previous problems and solutions as well as some articles on
basic strategies for solving chess problems.

http://www.theproblemist.org/

Second, lichess.org has an option to enable an accessibility mode. I've
tested it out for a practice game against the stockfish engine and it works.
While playing in accessibility mode, there is a text-list of all the moves
made in order, an FEN string of the current board configuration and a table
with the move-log of the game. You submit your move in an edit-box using
UCI notation which is like long-algebraic (i.e. 1. Nf3 is entered as "g1f3",
king-side castling is "e1g1" etc).

lichess has puzzles and training features which I haven't tested yet, but if
they are not accessible now, the developer/host does appear willing to help
improve accessibility of the site.

enjoy,
--Paul
