When you get the app, it comes with samples from three or four books, so you
can get the feel of how to use it. I will talk about it briefly below.
When you open a book, the best thingto do is have the table of contents
open. Double tap on a chapter name. Read that, then go back to the table of
contents. In the books I have read so far, next to the chpter names are
buttons that say “More info.” These lead to positions to study. It may be
that on iPad, the positions are with the chapter content. iPhone has a
smaller screen, as you know.
So it looks like I will be spending about fifty bucks on chess books, but I
will have to wait a couple of days.

Just would like to add that you can buy the everymanchess books via
their iPhone app.
The books are accessible on the iPHone, and you can get the pgn + fen
positions for diagrams in the book when reading with voiceover, this is
how I access everymanchess books.

Thanks, Chris, for the list of books. Some ofthese I've had in various
formats like the Pawn Structure Chess, et al. Now, getting back into
the great game after some time away due to school and such, it's time
I revisit them again.
The thing we can't ever due enough, no matter how much we book up on
openings, middle, and endgame is play...play...play. Okay, now to get
in touch with Chaffin so that can happen here with the USBCA again.
