It's great to officially welcome you to the list. We've played once
already, which was a good game. Here's to your getting involved in
lots of friendly, ladder and Skype chess both nationally and
internationally.
The thing for you and anyone else new to the black and white jungle
(as Waitzkin calls it) s that it takes a while to get good. Sometimes,
improvement happens in one area and you wane in another. Sometimes,
you win your section and you're on top of the world. Sometimes you get
it handed to you and you feel like quit. Just take the advice to play,
play, play, and play.

fairly
