meeting, for best results, have skype open on your platform. Then you can
simply click on the link in this email. Your browser will take you into skype
with a dialog. You may need to approve allowing skype to run. Click Allow. Make
sure by back-tabbing that video is off, then forward tab to where it says Join
Conversation. Click there, and you should be in the session.

Subject: Upcoming Chess Gather
Hi All,
Due to technical circumstances I haven’t had the time to resolve, I am having
to move Chess Gather from Chess Castle to Skype. I am also changing the time.
For those very new to chess, even if you don’t yet havbe a chess board and set,
I invite you to join me at 11 AM CDT. That translates to 16:00 UTC. We’ll get
acquainted and go over some introductory things that should help you along the
way. Anyone with board and set who would like to analyze a game should plan to
join around 11:30 CDT. Typical offer holds: if you have a game you would
particularly like to play over, bring it. I have plenty if no one brings a
request. We’ll go till about 1:30 CDT (18:30 UTC). It is my plan to email you a
skype link shortly before our start time.
For out-of-sight, I can only say that meetings in June, thus far, are
uncertain. I hope to continue normal schedule in Chess Castle with additional
sessions on skype or possibly Zoom,; I should have a bit of news about that
tomorrow! However, some in-home repairs, which I hoped would be completed by
the end of the month, will only be just started. And they will be disruptive.
So, stay tuned everyone. We’ll keep slogging along!
