Hi All,
Due to technical circumstances I haven't had the time to resolve, I am
having to move Chess Gather from Chess Castle to Skype. I am also changing
the time. For those very new to chess, even if you don't yet havbe a chess
board and set, I invite you to join me at 11 AM CDT. That translates to
16:00 UTC. We'll get acquainted and go over some introductory things that
should help you along the way. Anyone with board and set who would like to
analyze a game should plan to join around 11:30 CDT. Typical offer holds: if
you have a game you would particularly like to play over, bring it. I have
plenty if no one brings a request. We'll go till about 1:30 CDT (18:30 UTC).
It is my plan to email you a skype link shortly before our start time.
For out-of-sight, I can only say that meetings in June, thus far, are
uncertain. I hope to continue normal schedule in Chess Castle with
additional sessions on skype or possibly Zoom,; I should have a bit of news
about that tomorrow! However, some in-home repairs, which I hoped would be
completed by the end of the month, will only be just started. And they will
be disruptive. So, stay tuned everyone. We'll keep slogging along!
