Congratulations on completing the Hadley Chess course! I completed the course
last year and have enjoyed all of the interactions with this group of people.
The tournaments are a lot of fun and I encourage you to get involved.

Subject: [usbca_chess] Two More Grads To Welcome!
Hi All,
Two more graduates from the Hadley Chess courses to introduce to you. One many
of you already know. Karel Swanepoel, who hails from the Republic of South
Africa, completed the coursework a while ago, but we have been trying to
schedule his graduation ceremonial game, and, largely due to my erratic
schedule, it hasn’t yet come off. However, I have graduated him anyway. He
completed the Principles and Strategies course with a perfect 100% score; not
an easy task! And, joyfully, he has already dived into the competition, both
realtime and correspondence.
The second grad is a young man from Concord, CA, by the name of Kade
Joseph-Nelson. He, like Elizabeth, took the courses for high school credit and
is now a half credit closer to his diploma.
Congratulations, Karel and Kade, for a job well done!
Just for the record, I will this week graduate two more from Chess For
Beginners. I have little doubt that both will dive into Principles and
Strategies, and it won’t be long before you’re welcoming them, too!
