I listened to a copy of this book a long time ago, and I thank whoever first
made us aware of the fact that it is on BARD. I now have it on my iPhone. One
thing I like about this book, from what I recall, is that it does not rely on
diagrams which, for some unknown reason, are not described in a lot of the
books from the NLS. Withought the board layout being provided, these books are
useless.
If you think you're finished, you! really! are! finished!!

I usedf to have a copy of Chernev’s Practical Chess Endings, and I found him to
be reasonably readable. I’ll be looking for this new book! Thanks, Evan for the
heads-up.
Cheers,

Hey Guys,
Just saw this on the BARD list of books added to the collection earlier today:
Logical chess, move by move DB21110
Chernev, Irving. Reading time: 14 hours, 51 minutes.
Read by Larry Robinson.
Hobbies and Crafts
Move by move analysis of thirty-three great chess games which illustrate the
basic
concepts of good chess play. The emphasis is on positional play from which
winning
opportunities and decisive combinations are derived.
