A B class player is a player with a numerical score between 1600 and 1799.
When I was active many, many years ago, there were classes from E through
grandmaster. Grant masters were 2400 and above , masters were 2200 and above,
experts 2000 and above, etc. I believe my highest numeric ranking was 1776.
When I was active, almost no one played an opening with the queeng’s pawn.
