and your boyfriend for a little bit of chatting and going through
chess games would be great.
Another thing that hasn't been mentioned yet, I don't think, is Chess
Gather. Not sure if Jim Thoune is running it or another guy named Dave
(who's last name I can't remember), but it's real basic and great
discussion.

I don't know anything about openings yet, but I've gotten the moves for
each piece down okay, so maybe that's my next step. right now I just pick
a random pawn to start the game, but I suppose there are ertain strategies
to start off in a better position than just random choice.
I do have Skype, if anyone wants to add me, though I've not logged on in a
while. Last time I did, most of my contacts had disappeared, the the
whole interface looked different. I suppose I should look for scripts for
Jaws or something. At any rate, if anyone wants to add me, my user name
is misswings1981. At least I think that's it. It's either that, or just
misswings. I need to see if I can find out where that's disaplayed, so
I'll remember it for sure myself.

Feel free to ask any questions you want regarding strategies,
openings, and so forth. A lot of us on here play one another via
Skype, in tournaments and friendly games. Some of us play via email.
There are a bunch of us playing on some chess websites that have
adapted settings for the blind player such as Lichess.org. Truly, it's
the most exciting game ever, right up there with basketball.
