Thanks, Chris, for posting the interview. I find it fascinating how
Neil's comments on the brief similarities between coaching blind vs.
sighted chess players resemble something that Jeremy Silman, if memory
serves me right, mentioned to me a number of years ago when catching
him between rounds once. He seemed to think his playing moves in his
head wasn't much different than what we have to do in feeling the
board. The concepts and considerations in strategy are the same, blind
or sighted.
