These group discussions should be great!
When I first read your subject line, I thought that the discussions had been
canceled too.
When I readthe the message body, I realized that only the coaching sessions
were canceled.
You might want to send the email out again, with a clearer subject.
Also, the official site says that the event will start in one day and 48
minutes.
This would be 18 UTC, not 19 UTC.
Maybe the preliminaries start at 18:00, and the game starts at 19:00.
Maybe not.

Hello all,
Carlsen vs Karjakin. The match for the crown of World Chess
Champion is set for November 11 - 30, taking place in New
York. Olivier Deville has kindly set aside Salon_006 for
group discussions during live play. The time of start for
all 12 games in the match in three time zones is:
EST, 14:00.
UTC, 19:00.
GMT, 19:00.
The dates for the games are:
11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, 26, 28.
Rest days are:
13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 27.
The meetings shall be an informal group discussion, no one
will be leading the sessions. This worked quite well a
couple of years ago. Anyone wishing to attend must first
establish a Skype contact with the room:

before they will be permitted entry. Note: the room address
contains the, underscore, character, ensure your Skype
contact request is spelt correctly to avoid delay.

date, well worth a visit, though for some reason the links
appear in reverse order for anyone wishing to read them in
historical order.
As this match is going to call heavily on time, the coaching
sessions held in Salon-Echecs on Sundays will be cancelled
for the rest of November. An announcement will be made in
December giving the date when coaching sessions start again.
