Hi, Lucas.

Welcome to this group of chess enthusiasts. Here's hoping you enjoy
being part of our growing and thriving group.

As for people in the Bay area who are VI who play chess, I'm not sure.
But, if you'd like, I can forward the info about the US Blind Players
Championship officiated by the United States Chess Federation and
co-sponsored by the USBCA. It's going to be July 20-21 in Pittsburgh
and all of us playing in it are blind or visually impaired.

Do you have a provisional or established USCF rating yet? Can get you
info on that also.

All the best in chess,

David Rosenkoetter

Hi folks,

I sent some messages to this list already.

 I was living in Brazil, but now I am living in San Francisco, and
 planning to attend chess tournaments in the bay area in general.

 If there is any other VI player that plays in tournaments in the region,
let me know!
