While this is true, that doesn’t make it right, and I do not appreciate it when
we continue getting taken advantage of through price gouging.

Well it is what it is. If you don’t like it you don’t have to buy it.

At the price, I would think that all features would be implemented. Delay
and added increments. Is this yet another case of blind people having to pay a
huge price for something not fully featured?

From what I was told this clock has been approved by the United States chess
Federation and the tournament director I got the information of is here in
Virginia. She has two or three blind players in there Chess Club that play USCF
tournament rated games and are allowed to use the clock. I was told that the
clock does not have a delay or increment feature so they normally ask the
tournament Director to add 10 or 15 minutes to the clock before the game is
started to compensate for that time. Also she mentioned that since the clock is
bilingual the English seems to have a bit of an accent and you might want to
play with it to get used to it.

Digital talking chess clock
These clocks have a screen for sighted players and audio feedback
through headphones for visually impaired players. Players can hear the
time on both clocks and which one is running. All features are
accessible including incremental time.
