[usbca_chess] [Chess study plans] have you ever coached a blind person before?

I know that in this list we have some very experienced players. I was wondering if you ever coached a blind person before vs a sighted person and if you noticed things that the blind must focus more on their study that the sighted do not, or vice versa.

I am asking this because a friend kindly offered himself to help me improve my chess skills and we are meeting each week on skype to discuss my games, analyze positions and he also prepares a set of tactics for me to solve.

In the end, this may be a stupid question. Maybe this is just all the same, but it does not hurt asking :)

I came up with a study plan for myself, but was also interested in listening what worked good for you, if you ever were coached before.

Plus question, is there any blind master that gives chess lessons? This is just out of curiosity.

Thanks for your comments!
