This is a typical email setup for Chess
State the type of game: Friendly
Whose playing, White is always stated first: Mariana
Black is second: Alvin
Date game started: 8 25 20 not required but I always put it in
Next is the game score: 1 e4 (numbered moves, white first then black)
When I get a move, I first Reply the email, usually Ctrl+R, then arrow down
to where I type in my move and then send the email.

As I mentioned, I only play correspondence Chess that is by sending
emails back and forth to each other. If it is necessary, I will play
on the phone but computer is preferred.

for the last 18 years. I hate to tell you but Hadley school for the
blind has stopped their Chess courses since late March of 2019.
What you need to do, in my opinion, is just jump in and play as much
Chess as you can and read all that you can find on the web about
opening, middle and
end game theory.
Here is my offer:
I will play unrated friendly games with you until your Chess
confidence is stronger. There will be no penalties, only notation
advice and confirmation of your moves. Then you will be able to play
on your own and have a bunch of fun.
