Hi Hunter,
Some board members are looking at a solution to your problem, but this
has not been implemented. If you are a Bookshare member, I know there
is at least one beginner book there. I also know of a digital tlking
book that uses older chess notation called "Chess, Beginner to
Expert." If you can give us a little more of an idea about how much
chess you know now, such as how to move the pieces, how to write down
the moves, etc., I'm sure someone can give you more specific
resources.

Thanks.

Hello all, I've been on a vacation from chess for many years, and I
want to get back into the game.
I've noticed that the Hadley School for the Blind no longer offers the
beginner chess course, which has been recommended by the USBCA for
years. Can someone recommend any similar online beginner chess
courses, or any suitable books which can teach me how to play Chess?
