With today's rain no one showed up for the bird walk at Effigy Mounds.
I was there and yes the boardwalk is out of the water but debris still
needs to be clear off the deck. I am sure some of the silt and smaller
debris was washed off with the rainfall. Now it will just need some
drying. I talked to the ranger, Fred MacVaugh and he thought the bird
should be a go for next Saturday, May 13. Denny
