Hello all,
This morning (around 11:00 a.m.), we had quite the collection of feathered
visitors.
Three Golden-crowned Sparrows, a Downy Woodpecker and a Red-breasted
Sapsucker. All were in view out the same window, at the same time.
The Sapsucker was drilling a row of holes in one of our Cottonwoods - as
they do most years at our place.
We've also had three male Black-headed Grosbeaks hanging around our feeders
since yesterday. This marks the first time we've seen the Grosbeaks this
year.
Lesser Goldfinches (both male and female) have been here for the last
two-three weeks.
