Very nice on the Townsend warbler Sharon. I get very excited when my only
bat starts flying around too! I had an Audubon Yellow-rumped warbler
recently, but I think he was just passing through as I never get them here.
I got my first of the year Orange-crown warbler a couple days ago with the
2nd one this morning. A purple finch started singing yesterday too! Oh, the
shocker of the day was a great-blue heron flew by, I’m far enough from the
river to have never seen one at property before. I don’t think it noticed
the Koi????

Was out this afternoon in our back yard about 6 PM and saw a few small
birds. We searched and Sharon eventually found a Townsend Warbler. We went
out again about 8 and saw a bat. That made it a great evening.
