It's not impossible. Funnily enough, my original goal was just to get WinUAE working on Linux and then get the changes merged into the WinUAE tree. The end. I never wanted to be a maintainer of yet another separate UAE source tree. Somehow, I suddenly got interested in supporting a bunch of other platforms besides Linux (and having a lot of fun doing it). Howver, since the goal of WinUAE is not portability, it takes a lot of time and effort to get the various updates to WinUAE working and tested on the platforms that E-UAE now supports. So, while doing a full merge with WinUAE is not impossible and is definitely not undesirable, I don't have the time to do this currenlty. It's going to take more people working on this than just me. As a start, I would like to get E-UAE buildable with Mingw (at least against SDL). Configure support is partially there, but I haven't tested it in a long time. Cheers, Rich
