But i didn't, obviously ;-) I misinterpreted the strange issue.

Now i think it has nothing to do with the modeIDs.

I noticed that it only occures when i move the UAE window around the desktop
while UAE tryes to resise the Window while booting.

I use UAE in windowed mode.

While booting, UAE opens a small window for the AGA/ECS screen at first.

Then, when picasso takes over the screen, the window gets resised to the
higher pisasso rsolution.

But when you move the Window around the desktop, the window cannot be resised.
This is why the big Picasso96 Workbench Screen doesn't fit the smaller window
and IBrowse even crashes beacuse of this.

I use KDE, maybe it's not an UAE issue, but has thomthing to do with the
windowmanager.

Thats because of my settings for the native resolution (gfx_width_windowed and
gfx_width).

Yes, sorry, i missinterpreted the strange behaviour. I moved the Window around
the desktop - and this is reproducable on my system.
