Hi-Toro 0.4.13 is available for download.

I recently was contacted by two Path Finder users within a few days, asking if I could remove Hi-Toro's Finder dependency to give a nicer experience to people using Finder replacements. This update mainly addresses those requests, but it's recommended for all users since it contains several other minor improvements. Unfortunately, until the System events 'open' command gets an upgrade, or E-UAE learns some applescript, the Finder is still required to launch a Cocoa E-UAE. The "Show in Finder" commands are also Finder specific - there simply is no Finder-independent alternative.

Changes in this update:
- File handling functions now handled by System Events instead of Finder.
- Improved application speed in some file handling operations.
- Various visual - and sonic! - improvements to application and Finder icons.
