Hello, this is my first post to the e-uae mailing list. Just switched from windows to linux and am pretty surprised how well e-uae performs on my system. I'd therefore like to thank everyone for this great piece of software first. I was thinking about, wether it is possible to implement a solution, so that two player can play amiga games within a network or over the internet, which never had any kind of network support implemented. The idea is as follows: In a first step to set up a listen server which translates its input from a host into keystrokes (like the cursor keys) to control one of the game ports. In a second step to send the complete framebuffer over the network to the host, which is then displayed on the hosts screen. Later steps needed to reduce the massive bandwidth of this solution, like just transferring lines that have been altered (and hopefully some more clever tricks) as well as better integration into e-uae. As i haven't spend too much time with e-uae internals by now and am not the genius coder either, i'd like to ask you wether you think it does make some sense investing time by trying to implement this? Kind regards
