There's a bug in 0.8.28 on OS X! Actually, it's also present in
0.8.27. Here it is:
The configuration option gfx_*_fullscreen is currently ignored (as
stated in the configuration documentation), but instead of falling
back on the old gfx_width and gfx_height options E-UAE is using the
gfx_*_windowed option for fullscreen displays. So if I set a 640 x
512 windowed display then E-UAE will also try to open a 640 x 512
display when in fullscreen mode. This display mode is not supported
by OS X and the result is a display with a half black screen or
graphics corruption opening in the default 800 x 600.
