Short version:

Gnostic merged various portions of WinUAE's code into the E-UAE source
to make PUAE.

Frode Solheim picked that source up, focused on using it with openGL
and primarily gaming, and produced fs-uae.

fs-uae is pretty darn close to winuae in functionality; it has a
frontend (beta, earlier versions - i.e. about 2 months ago - were less
dependent on QT and may work better for some users) but editing the
config files isn't hard (but will be more work than some people want
to put into it.)

I am unsure if anyone has ported it to MorphOS yet, but it runs on
osX, Linux, FreeBSD, and even Windows (for some reason.)

It has an experimental netplay server for people who are into that.

Frode is not on this list, that I know of, and the communication for
that takes place on his site, fs-uae.net, and the English Amiga Board,
where he has a forum ... slice (or whatever you want to call it -
subsection...)

lallafa listed some things on his blog (lallafa.de) concerning how to
add segtracker to fs-uae's debugger; this is helpful for those doing
coding (even on 1.3 - which is where I'm doing it.) Tho I would
prefer HRTmon, which is in the source but not working yet in fs-uae.

So in short, a lot has happened, and things are in pretty good state.
Could be better on the programming side (hrtmon is in the fs-uae
source but it doesn't work, and I haven't had luck in enabling it
myself) but overall, I think most folks on this list will be happy
with the state of things.
