  Hi Shirley,

If you save the Document in 'Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP' Format, B.C.C. will
be able to read this with either Word 2000 or Word 2003. The resulting file
should have a .doc file extension.

  I hope this helps.

  Regards,

To anyone who may be listening out there

I recently sent a letter to Bucks County Council re the opening times for
the Libraries Reserve stock -at the request of members. After a long interval
with no reply, I re-sent it as an email attachment. I have now received a
response saying that they cannot open the letter in Open Office format, and
could I send it again in a format compatible with Word 2003.

I need help to do that. I have tried saving the original letter in what is
listed as a Word 2003 XML format, (which seems to be all it offers me) but it
wont let me.

    Any ideas ?

    Shirley S.
