In recent weeks on numerous occasions we have found the arms of our front gate
removed and the gate left standing open at night. We’ve had no reports of the
gate not operating properly, and every time we’ve hooked the arms back up and
it’s worked fine. Do any of you know who keeps taking the arms off the gate?
The arms are not locked on to the gate so that if it malfunctions, and we need
to get in or out, we can do so and won’t be locked in or out. Or, if one of
you needs to get home at night and you don’t have your opener and forget the
gate code, you can easily remove the arms and get home. But if you need to do
this, you should replace the arms once you are through the gate.
If you find the gate not operating properly, please let us know so we can get
it fixed. If you need another gate opener, let us know. In case you have
forgotten the gate code, it is still 5391. If you are expecting guests,
please give them the code or a gate opener, and don’t advise them to take the
arms off.
