The front gate has finally been repaired and should be working and closed at
night. It took a while to get the parts.
We don’t know exactly how the gate was so extensively damaged, but our best
guess is that guests arrived late in the evening without the correct gate code
and tried to get through by physically pushing the gate open. This will
destroy the gate every time.
If you have guests or family who might arrive while the gate is closed, PLEASE
make sure they have the correct gate code. For the front gate, that code is
6491. The arms are locked to each side of the gate with combination locks,
which can be removed to release the arms and manually open both sides of the
gate. The combinations of those locks also are 6491.
And PLEASE make sure your guests understand that pushing on the gate will not
succeed without destroying our gate.
