I wanted to update you on my former tenant Anice Joy. She passed away on
August 5 after she suffered a cerebral aneurysm on July 7th. She was
unresponsive when a friend came to check on her after Anice called to say
that she was not feeling well. The ambulance came, she was taken to Holy
Cross Hospital where they quickly realized that they could not help because
of her condition and she was eventually air lifted to Colorado Springs, had
surgery, remained in an induced comma for several weeks and then sadly passed
away. Anice drove a black Subaru usually with a paddle board strapped to the
roof. She owned and operated her Hot Yoga Studio in Arroyo Seco, offered
paddle board yoga in the area, had an interview program on KNCE and was very
community oriented. When the covid-19 pandemic hit, she immediately offered
free yoga classes on Facebook two times per day to help others through this
period of time. Anice was 47 and the mother of two teenage boys. Thought you
would all like to know.
Sincerely,
Jane
