Good afternoon!
Troop 286 has a new Assistant Scoutmaster!
Ken Cartwright (Adam's Dad) has agreed to step up and help me fulfill the
obligations to the scouts and operate the troop. Ken will be working
directly with the scouts and help provide the required two-deep leadership
standards set by the Boy Scouts of America. He will also be able to serve
as the Scoutmaster in my absence.
Ken will be working with the Troop Patrol Leaders Council which is
comprised of the Senior Patrol Leader Jonathan North, the Assistant Patrol
Leader Adam Cartwright and the 3 Patrol Leaders Dylan Franck, Caleb Sherck
and Max Colby.
While neither the Scoutmaster or the Assistant Scoutmaster are voting
members of the Troop Committee, they do report during the monthly Troop
Committee meetings on such things as troop progress, actions of the Patrol
Leaders Council, disciplinary problems, attendance, monthly outing plans
and other troop needs.
