I can see the not wanting your modern computer to clash with your retro
aspect I guess... but just didn't make sense to me to put a bunch of hot
running stuff in a breadbin and expect it to be great. And... you're next
email .. more of a want than a need as the commodore keyboards are pretty
easy to restore to working.

Also, if you had a retro space, then you could have that modern PC that
lets you download stuff and do modern things, while blending into the style
of the space. Like lots of people have a modern PC or laptop nearby when
doing retro stuff so you can download disk images or lookup schematics or
run eeprom readers/writers, etc… so this would blend into that space.
Also, for example, I could have this as a computer in my work office, so I
can have all the retro feels, but not have to deal with all the issues of
having a real vintage system on my desk.
Also, you could have this as a living room PC that looks cool on your
shelf instead of a PC, with your wireless keyboard and mouse or remote or
whatever for living useable.

It’s not bad as a system. It’s small and quiet and makes it easy to add
an extra SSD.
