Hi Ian and TPUG,
TPUG is non-profit organization, regardless if it's run by
volunteers, and since the members pay their dues, it owes
them answers if any arise.
I don't see anything wrong with your postings. I agree
emailing info@xxxxxxx usually does not yield results.
Thus, posting here makes sense, as I'm sure there are
others (myself in it) who may be interested in answers or
would have similar questions.
I would expect TPUG take things seriously and post the
replies to questions on either its website or on this list.

having said that I'd like to add these questions:
- Are the board members elected yearly or "appointed"?
- How and where are the yearly dues spend? Given it's
non-profit organization, this should be published /
presented in newsletter towards the end of year. This
makes the matter legitimate and encourages donations and
special events.
- what was the last time I received a Newsletter?
Considering a $25 membership fee, I would expect to see it
at least quaterly.
thanks.
Burt
