Ken, I wonder if your orange moth is #5155, Loxomorpha flavidissimalis. I had one last year in Sept. It was more of a light yellow than the bright orange on MPG. Mine also had green eyes. Pic attached. (If my ID is correct. LOL) Jean ----- Original Message ----- From: kjchilds To: TN Moths ; ncsc-moths@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, July 02, 2011 12:27 PM Subject: [tn-moths] More worn moth help needed It's shiny orange with green eyes. I see what may be a hint of a white line but I can't really tell if it's worn or if it's supposed to look like this. http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p193/kjchilds/Moths%202011/Moths%202011%20temporary/IMG_5750.jpg I thought maybe 5051 Pyrausta rubricalis for this one but the markings don't appear to line up correctly with what's I've seen and what's on MPG. http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p193/kjchilds/Moths%202011/Moths%202011%20temporary/IMG_5746.jpg Ken Childs Henderson, TN Chester County http://tinyurl.com/Kens-Moths-2011
