I went to the Smoky Mountain Institute at Tremont last week. I set up 2 sheets
the first night and 3 the second. There is a small mountain river running
nearby, so I saw hundreds of mayflies, caddisflies, stoneflies and even a HUGE
Dobsonfly. Not too many moths the first night, but the Spiny  Oak moth was a
first for me. The second night we set up the third light by the dining hall and
had lots of moths there. I presented my "Moth-er's Night Out" program to the
group, but after a hot day of hiking, many of them fell asleep before they
could see the moths! I took photos of ~ 40 species of moths, I've been able to
ID about 28 for Blount Co. I tried to send these through my Gmail account, but
Larry said it got kicked back. I need to find out how to get on FreeList on
that account.
