I believe your Cochlis ringsii is correct. I think the underwing is Catocala carissima. Here is a good site for TN Catocalas: http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/Tennesseecatocala.htm Scroll down, and you will find the Catocalas sorted by underwing color, then size. It's a handy guide. That's where I found Catocala judith.
