It was a tough day to count in Sat., July 11. Very hot and dry, but we were interrupted mid-day by storms coming through the area, with cloudy conditions. Even though I got out after the rains, butterfly activity was not extremely high after that. We had two parties out. Here are the totals I have at this point. Pearly-Eye - 1 Gemmed Satyr - 1 Little Wood Satyr - 5 Monarch - 1 Silver-Sp. Skipper - 21 Hoary Edge - 6 S. Cloudywing - 1 N.
