Actually the main reason this listserv exists is that Steve Stedman needed a
central location for people to submit the FOY and BAMONA reports and to
communicate with other Butterfliers in the state. Sharing knowledge and reports
is a natural offshoot of that and, IMHO, is no less important but without Steve
and BAMONA, there probably wouldn't be a TN-Butterflies list.

Rita and others,
TN-Butterflies would be less interesting and enlightening if you stop sending
photos as attachments. I agree that we are speaking of two separate entities
and I don't think BAMONA ticks are the reason for this list-serv. I hope
everyone will continue to share photos and observations and we will not become
hesitant because of space in the Archives. Why have this forum?
