Winter hummer season is underway. I have posted photos of the first two Rufous Hummingbirds that I have banded this year in separate galleries at the following link: http://www.pbase.com/csloan/winterhummerbanding One was an immature male banded Oct. 14 (in Sewanee, Franklin Co.) and the other an adult female banded Oct. 22 (in Byrdstown, Pickett Co.). I will be posting my data web page later this week, as well as a final wrap on last year's efforts. -- Chris Sloan chris.sloan@xxxxxxxxxxx Nashville, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation.
