Helen Dillon, nternationally known speaker in horicultural circles, was
featured this weekend at Nashville Lawn and Garden Show. I'd met her last
year on a speaking tour and called to see if she wanted to go see the
cranes at Bell's Bend. No kidding, she was sitting in her hotel room with a
copy of the New York Times article about the birds in her hand, and was
"all for having a look at them" (insert Scottish accent here, though she
lives in Ireland). This was Saturday afternoon, and though we had a lovely
drive and she was happy to get out of the city and see some of the
countryside, we did not find the two cranes. This is my second try within
the week, with no luck. Has anyone seen them this past week?

Helen flew back to Dublin today so missed her chance, but I'd like to know
if anyone knows their whereabouts. Thanks!

Carol
