Good Morning, I sent out the following note to a few selected birders on May 3, 2007, from my home in the Charlotte Park area of West Nashville & forgot to post it on TN-Birds: ---At least one male white-throat is still here. He gave me a show early this morning when he sat on a deck rail in the light drizzle preening as he took his morning shower!--- The white-throat has not been seen since that day, so guess he was getting all clean and pretty to make his trip out of my yard to his nesting grounds. I always miss my white-throats when they leave. Had a singing vireo yesterday and today but was unable to be certain of which one. It is NOT a white-eyed, and I have trouble with the songs of most of them. It may have been a red-eyed, but just didn't sound strong enough.
