[TN-Bird] updated photos (Whistling Ducks)

TN-birders,
Mark Greene has already highlighted the birds on our Lake Co. run yesterday,
and I'm sure Jeff will paint a picture with words as only he can. We had a
great day, especially considering the wind, with special thanks to Glenn
Criswell for turning up yet another great record for TN with his Black-bellied
Whistling-Ducks! I have posted a couple of mediocre shots of the
Whistling-Ducks, and also a shot of a very cooperative Upland Sandpiper seen
Saturday. I am going back up to the area in the morning, and hope to get some
better shots of the Whistling-Ducks if they are still in the area. The photos

On a separate note, anyone thinking of getting the "bionic ears" that Jeff has
gotten should really consider it. After spending alot of time with Jeff in the
field, it was a real treat knowing that Jeff was finally hearing the same songs
and calls that Mark and I were (and as always even some that we missed!); when
after a song or two, Jeff is picking up on Cape May and Bay-breasted songs, I'd
say that was money well spent!
