I just got word from Alix Parks that the weather for tomorrow will be unfavorable for the release. The date and time has been changed to today, Thurdsay Oct. 2nd at ~2 to 2:30pm. She is sorry for the changes but has to take into account what is best for the hawk! The bird will be released from Signal Point at Signal Mountain, Hamilton Co., Tn. The hawk had previously suffered from a broken leg but is now sufficiently healed and eager for release. Bring your cameras as Alix will allow time for photo's.
