[tn-bird] unusual pewee song??

Has anyone ever heard an Eastern Wood-Pewee sing the song of a Greater Pewee?
Yesterday (Sept 15) I heard two pewees singing such songs. These were heard
along the Cherohala Skyway in Monroe County in east Tenn.
I was able to see one of the birds, and it didn't appear to look different
from an Eastern Pewee, of which there were several around.
