An American Robin is incubating eggs right in the middle of lower level one of
the parking garage attached to the building where I work (Roundabout Plaza on
the Music Row roundabout).  The nest is on a small pipe, right above the
middle row of cars.  This would be the equivalent of nesting a couple of
hundred yards deep in a cave, only a cave with flourescent lighting and lots of
traffic.  I think she doesn't have to worry about predators, though (unless
you count all the lawyers and agents in the building).
