A Surf Scoter has been present at the Celina Sewage Lagoons in Clay Co.,TN, 5-11 November 2002. It was found by Terry M. Campbell, who photographed the bird. Terry plans to check the lagoons today to see if the bird is still around; it probably will be. A Tree Swallow and several additional species of ducks including Common Goldeneye were present yesterday also. The Great White Heron still remained at Happy Hollow on the DeKalb/Putnam county line near Exit 268 on I-40 yesterday, when seen by me and by a couple of Nashville birders.
