Lots of activity at my feeders in west Knox County today but the only unusual
visitor was a bright yellow Pine Warbler. He flew from a pine tree to the
fruit and nut feeder this morning but I don't think he lingered long enough to
get any fuit, nut or seed. He returned later and was feeding on the ground
near the feeders. Not the first pine warbler I've ever had but certainly a
rare visitor.
