[TN-Bird] red tail

I was able to witness a Red Tail hawk make a kill yesterday. It flew from a
phone pole and struck about fifty yards away at something on the ground.
(Probably a rodent or small dog !!! ) I don't see that act very often and it
always amazes me to see the speed and force with which Red Tails strike. It
must have been successful because it huddled very closely over its prey. I have
seen this behavior before. If it's a miss, they usually look around and fly off
fairly soon.
